Stylianos Vlachodimos (b. 2001) is a filmmaker and editor based in Athens, Greece. Growing up in Western Macedonia, in an environment shaped by migration, rurality, Romani communities, and intergenerational coexistence, he was exposed early to diverse social realities and everyday ways of living that continue to influence his work. His interest in filmmaking was driven by a need to observe people, neighborhoods, unfamiliar places, and everyday realities.
His practice focuses on anthropological and cinematic documentary storytelling, exploring people, collective experiences, and cultural environments. He works across documentary series, short films, live music projects, and cultural productions, often moving between observation, performance, and social context.
Alongside his professional work, he has participated in international cultural and educational programs across Europe, engaging with themes such as social change, media, mental health, and human rights. His work has been presented and awarded through festivals, broadcasters, and cultural institutions, including ANT1, Technopolis City of Athens, and the Athens & Epidaurus Festival.
