A non-fiction narrative film created for Sport24, marking the premiere episode of Away Stand, a travel-based football series hosted by Dimitris Moisiadis.

If you've ever questioned if the football we recognize in Europe really exists in New York City, this project provides a less straightforward response. Throughout the city, numerous Latin American and European immigrants have brought the game along — not merely as a recollection, but as an ongoing practice. Together with their lives, they introduced football, organizing local tournaments, casual matches, and communities formed around the common language of the game.

Through observational, music-driven storytelling, the film explores how football quietly lives within the city’s multicultural fabric.
